O.K. after reading the thread on off camera lighting I want to give it a try using the westcott softbox.
I have been using my off camera bare bulb and my sunpak 555 screws into the light stand directly.
The problem is the adapter that comes with the softbox is for a shoe mount flash which is what I am not using so how do I adapt the screw in flash to the whole set up?
