Detroit Gold Cup, from today (Sunday) shot on the Detroit River.. I used a polarizer for all these shots as the sun was up and it worked wonders IMO... The first three were of a F/A 18 Hornet performing an aerial show during lunch/noon... C&C are welcome!

6.) (A much better panning shot that from my Friday series IMO!! - it ain't great, but given my horrible panning proficiency, I'll take it!)

Awesome! Both Sets. Great catch on getting him burried like that. You don't see that too often.

Panning is tough on boats in rougher water cause of the vertical motion. I'd say that one is pretty good.

Thanks! I was shooting at the right place at the right time as far as catching that one boat getting buried in the water... I've been watching these boats for some time now and it truely is amazing at how folks manage to operate these boats at those speeds on water no less! It never gets old and I'll be back there again next year hopefully!

Nice shots sadowsk2! #1 of the jet is very cool, and #4 is a great shot in my opinion, I love it when you can really see what those drivers have to deal with, it really makes a statement. Good job!

Great pics! The noise level on the shots of the plane seems a little high?

Yep- I processed that one pretty quickly and sharpened everything including the sky which in turned sharpened the noise.
