Those are the output tubes from a cute little single ended Norh SE-9 integrated amplifier.

I remember when I was kid I couldn't wait until one of the tubes blow. My father would take them out, and I would have a "Flash Gordonesque" spaceship that I can play with in a sandbox. Thanks for evoking memories :)

Nothing like the blue and purple glow of cathodes and anodes in a vacuum. Great shot! I should try this on my Fender Baseman 135.
