OK I hate to do this because I am sure this question has been asked many times but I could not find the answer I was looking for in search so.....I have a Mac with PS 7.0...I know its tme to upgrade but I put all my money in the camera... I am shooting with Digi Rebel and have been just shooting in JPEG. I am not too happy with the results. Pictures seem real muddy. I see other shooting with the rebel with great results so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Are there any free RAW converters for macs? I used the Canon software but it kinda stinks. Please help I will be forever indebted.

Muddy is a very good decription, but can describe an exposure metering user errors, a lens calibration issue, poor focus, a crappy lens, etc. Can you post some photos to a link for Forum members to view? If anything jpgs straight from the camera tend to be too saturated in color and sharpened. RAW will not fix muddy. J.
