i'm a wedding photographer based in Nashville, TN. i've recently introduced a new "photo booth" concept at my weddings. a background or back drop of sorts, camera on a tripod, minimal props, guests come over and take group shots, individuals, silly photos, etc.
you can see an example of my last photo booth here: http://hannahelainephotography.blogspot.com/2009/07/one-fatal-flaw-photo-booth-debut.html
i'm looking for someone who can be the photo booth operator at my weddings. your job will be to set up the lights, equipment and props at the reception, recruit guests to participate, and to tear down afterwards.
REQUIREMENTS:
-- skillz: moderate knowledge of and experience with basic studio lighting
-- friendly and outgoing personality (must actively engage guests)
-- good sense of humor (just a personal preference for sanity purposesd)
-- your own mode of transportation
-- a creative mind with trouble-shooting skills
-- a digital SLR with RAW capabilities (memory cards provided)
-- a decent lens
-- basic working knowledge of lightroom is helpful (though not required, but could potentially earn you some extra cash)
since this is a brand new concept for my business i will probably only have a handful of opportunities to implement the photo booth through the end of the year, therefore, hiring is on an as-needed basis, with an average gig lasting around 4 hours. base pay is $20 an hour, travel time not included. take a look at my website and blog before applying. if you don't feel your personal vibe can flow with mine DON'T APPLY! while you will have some liberty in running the booth how you feel, i still have the ultimate say and i will fight you about this. so please, no power hungry mongrels. laid back is my favorite.
send resumes (if applicable) and website/digital portfolio info to:
