I am so grateful for this forum. I have been an avid reader and I hope to one day have something to contribute to all the supportive feeds on POTN. I do need advice as I've reached a saturation point for information and I have little time to make up my mind.

I have a pregnancy shoot coming up and have the following gear. I need to make a decision about a tripod and considered another flash, lumiquest system and/or Softlighter II.

I would like to prepare for headshots work with anything I purchase in addition to current setup. I have no reflectors or standard umbrellas of any kind. I also would love to add filters to my gear.

Your feedback would be much, much appreciated.

That's a pretty good kit - did you have any issues you were concerned with? For a homemade reflector you can use styrofoam or craft foam to kick light from the softbox.

Well, I'm not quite sure if I should get those wooden stands for the boards or the fabric ones that spring open...metallic/white...really at a loss...and I would like the flexibility of using them when I'm alone and with an assistant.
