FIrst at all let me start by saying that I'm a totally newb when it comes to photography, I just got my first DSLR a couple month ago, and have been playing a lot with it, trying to learn. So, have I been learning anything yet??? You tell me...

This pass saturday I went to the USA vs HAITI soccer game in the Gillette stadium in MA, (playing for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2009) and I figure I would share a couple of the pics...

The first two pics I took from the side line during the warm ups, the other 2 were from my seat. I'm not a real soccer fan, but it wasn't too bad, also, it seem to me that soccer is a bit hard to capture...

the shots are not that bad, you have the right idea. Just need a bit of practice.
No2 needs the horizon straightened.
No 3 needs cropped a bit.
I hope you don't mind my editing
cheers Allan

I do not mind the editing to the pics at all, it just helps me learn things I'm not doing.

You are totally right about the horizon on the second pic, and I actually did some cropping to the third one, and didn't do more, just trying to keep the resolution high, but it looks good.

Thanks for your help!

Nice shots, make sure you keep your shutter speed high, you may have to bump up the ISO because, there is movement blur in the action pics.

I see what you mean, I tried, for a bit, but them gave up, this was a night game and that might have not help me much, and I guess that a prime lens would have been good too, but I'm not ready to blow $2k on a lens just yet...

Thanks for your comments!!!
