Hi all, newbie here!

My dad has given me his old manfrotto 190B tripod. After searching for a while, there does not seem to be a whole lot of information about the tripod. So, I was wondering if I am able to replace the current ballhead which is the 352RC with a 488RC2?

Thanks.

I *think* most tripods have a standard 3/8" screw size from the tripod to the head.

However, you may not realize that there are three setscrews under the mounting plate for the head. You'll need to back off the three screws before you can remove the installed head, and you should tighten the three screws with the new head mounted.
