Just ordered some bits !!

Just ordered a flash and tripod from warehouse-express !

Ordered a 420EX and a Manfrotto 190Pro(Black) tripod with a 141RC head.

Does anyone have any experience with this and tripod and head, either seperate or as a combo ? I chose them because they were within my price range and I wanted Manfrotto.
Would they be any good for studio work ?

I believe the tripod/head are marketed as Bogen 3001/3030 in the 'states.

I have the tripod but I use it with the 488RCO head. It is a fine stable tripod and portable enough to strap to the side of my bag. I have had no problems with it. It is not as stable as my Benbo II which I use for studio work, but then again it is not made out of scaffolding. A nice tripod, enjoy.

I trust you have a remote release for your camera?
