Hi,

I am putting the finishing touches to my first website. I need a photo to go on the front cover and throughout the website. Hopefully when I get more into photography I will have better ones to replace it.

I have this photo in RAW format. Any advice on how to make this look bearable?

jesus! Do you mind telling me what browser + OS you have please? Just so I can have a look and see what's wrong cause everything is fine on my side.....

Think am gonna ditch the photo to be honest...I will just have to delay the deadline and wait for a better photo.. Just trying to work with whatever I had lying around you see :)

First pano is an odd crop.you have cut the sailboat out? Maybe just crop above the sail and mast?
Second shot is nice, but it the same throughout the rest of the headers?

sorry, i should have explained... the first photo (kili) is the one am not happy with. The colourful photo is not mine and I just used that as a placeholder while i designed around the site

No wonder it's taking so long. The header picture is saved as a 16 bit PNG file. Save it as an 8 bit JPEG and the size drops to about 100KB. Also my opinion here, but I'd crop the picture down further to get rid of the tree line at the bottom and also integrate your title text into the picture itself.

erkk sorry...

Glad someone pointed that out to me, thanks..

Is this your portfolio? Are you coding it yourself?

Yeah am ditching the photo, just thought it could be edited to make it bearable till I get some new shots up. Obviously not..

Thanks :)
