Has anybody else had problems trying to view their digi pic's on the TV?
This is what I'm doing...
Connect the camera (S230) to the input jacks on the front of the VCR, using supplied A/V cables.
Turn "ON" camera and select "replay."
Camera is set to the "NTSC" setting.
Still, pic's won't come across.
Have tried different settings but no luck.
Any ideas??
TIA :)

does your VCR have an A/V setting? With my vcr, in order to see anything coming in thru the inputs (usually the vcr outputs to the tv) I have to select the channel that is below channel 2, it is called AV. If I want to copy something like a DVD onto a video tape (for example), I have to switch the vcr to AV in order to see the signal coming from the DVD player.

I would just connect the camera up to the TV if you just want to view the camera images and not bother with the VCR, unless you want to record them to tape. As was said previously, you may have to select a 'A/V' mode on the VCR in order for it to pick up the camera. Also make sure you are using the correct television system. That is, make sure the camera and the VCR and the TV are all set to NTSC or PAL(Europe), I don't know what part of the world you are in. Have you got audio recording on the S230?, don't know that camera too well.
