Golden Retriever

Hey Everyone,

I've never really asked for CC before, but here goes nothing. I am fairly new to photography and I try to practice every weekend. My boss had his golden retriever over the other night and I wanted to snap some quick photos. Both pictures were taken with a Canon 40D, Tamron 17-50mm, and a Canon 580exII speedlite.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! If i am missing some information, please let me know.

It was a warm day here in Minnesota and he was out playing with my two dogs. He may have been dreaming. :)
