visible overlaps in PhotoStitch ???

hello,

i'm wondering if anyone has had success merging photographs using PhotoStitch? mine have visible overlaps at the seams.

You need to use the manual mode, where you explicitly say that this feature over here is the same as that feature over there. You label the features you think are important and it tries its best to do a smooth overlap.

It seems to help to select three to four features per seam. If you select more, it doesn't know which ones are more important and if you select less, it often makes gross errors.

It works, but it's a pain.

whew, it *is* tiresome ~ but, the image has definitely improved after an intensive session in manual mode. just need to do some final clean up in photoshop.
