i been thinking on this subject i do photos at our local speedway for the last 2 yrs usen a cannon 900 and a 9000 our prints never fade we use ilfford paper and really cheap ink i think i might have figgered out why some fade im sure most know about paper settings maybe if you use the wrong settings could be the promblem if you use 1 paper and it soaks up alot of ink and for some reason you use a setting for a paper that dont soak it up that would make you have a paper with little ink on a sheet that soaks it up or vice a versa alot of ink on 1 that dont soak it up which would make it never dry just my 2 cents thats worth nothing

Virtually any non-glossy finish paper that I used in the old days has now been abandoned. Mostly, there was too much fade over time.

Now I use only Epson Premium Luster, Glossy, or something very similar to that.
