Here's some shots of the F3 from Croft today. Talk about 4 seasons in a day.

I'll post some shots from the other classes running on the day later. As usual any comments or feedback appreciated.

Cheers,

Simon.

Very nice sharp images :)
The water and sun really makes them stand out.

Simon - I was looking at your website.
The photos you take are stunning, a benchmark for all us 20D owners to aim for :)

Nicely done, Simon. The second shot is particularly good, some nice dynamic on the car. :)

The shots were all taken with a 20D and 300mm f4 L IS lens with 1.4 TC fitted and hand held. Camera in Tv mode with centre focus point only and a shutter speed of 1/500s and aperture to suit (typically f8 to f10).

Cheers,

Simon.

Thanks Cadwell - must admit I like that one as well.

Cheers,

Simon.

in that case the 20D auto focus must be a tad quicker than my 10D!

Yes, it is... but it's not really relevant. The 10D is more than capable of getting that kind of shot. :)

Cadwell is dead right. I've shot from this location before with my 10D without too much trouble. Use the centre focus point and pick up your target good and early and the 10D will get the shot with little trouble.

I think Cadwell posted a head on shot of a single seater taken with his 10D recently if you need further convincing!

Cheers,

Simon.
