I have a theory about Woodpeckers.. they look normal enough from most angles,. but when you see there eyes,. they allways look a little,. well not to compare them to a certain duck... but they look "daffy"

I am of the opinion that the repeated "head banging" has addled there minds to a certain degree... ;)

The jays and titmouses grab a kernel and take it off to a limb to work it over. This guy just hangs on and drills. Works for him. :)
