This is my first posted picture with people - a snap shot on a warm Mother's Day on the Boulder downtown mall. Uncropped, with Canon S500. Oh to be a kid again!

that sun will kill you every time. It's a great shot and i'm not sure how you could've gotten away from the sun issue. I really like the random kids pictures better than the cheesy posed ones with the fake smiles.

Thanks, Erika. Are you referring to the bright highlights, like on the girl's shoulder and pants? Would retouching help? I do not have PS, but Picture Window Pro 3.5, which should be able to help me balance and retouch.
