Went up to the hill for some pics during a storm in the afternoon, risky business as some cloud approached me and then lightning and thunder started, (reference - Eliot, What the thunder said), It said nothing expect those frightening light and explosive sound. Some residents of the affluent hillside stood outside their balcony and looking at me in disbelief, what the...... hack? So took some pics in a hurry and ran back from the park to my car, luckily the down pour didn't catch my camera, which is of course a more expensive asset than myself,,,,,:)
Enjoy this kind of experience immensely, only wish Canon had some totally water-proof DSLR camera (not I am aware of anyway, or if that's ever possible anyway), instead of some weather-resistant seals, believe me, try that (don't ever) in some heavy stuff and you will get punished. But cannot do anything with DSLR anyway, a plastic bag with seal sometimes works.
Anyway,I am still alive and wandering the streets in elation.
Life through the viewfinder is much smaller, but more exciting.
So for safety reason, I am carrying a plastic bag with me all the time. Girls will love it. hahahhahaa.:)
