I love it. Looks like a lot of fun stuff. Took me a bit to find the gallery, but once I did, it was well worth it. Keep up the nice work.

Looks awesome Rian! You do some really fun stuff, and you definitely have lighting mastered.

The only gripe I can find is at 1st glance it looks like it says BIAN not RIAN. Everything else is really good!

Weird, the images fill the screen for me^I think the images would be keeping people on the site, alone, but that said there's a few things I wanted to point out:
I like the site, but I'm not sure on the place of the lighting and composition 'faq' at the bottom (it doesn't really flow with the rest of the site). I don't know your business but maybe a client list or publication list would be more efficient? If there is supposed to be a before and after picture, there isn't one showing up for me
Unless its the groundwork for a mini blog on your site? I see that done a lot recently.
I find using a mini blog to keep the bounce rate low and to encourage interest, for potential clients, in your work. If they saw a little a bit about how your shoots work or what your mind works like I figure that improves your rate of being hired  least for me

I think the site is real good, and I love the gallery, I had to look at every photo because they were all so interesting and cool. I really like your work! :D

Very well put together, and a shining example of proper usage of web standards to do stuff that 99% of people seem to think you need Flash to do. ;)
Great job! I think this is the first photographer's site I've seen that actually made me think "Wow, he's doing it right!" :D

Well that was interesting...in a good way. If you're concerned about SEO, you may want to change some of your metadata tags.

I like it a lot. I see you used Joomla. care to share which additions you added on top of the base?
I'm building a joomla site right now myself and for now I'm only sticking to the base, no additions, but I'll have to when I get to the point of adding a gallery and the like.
