Anyone interested in going to the Hot Air Balloon Festival?
If so which day?
It is Fri - Sat - Sun (Jul 24-25-26)

Apparently they only launch these things at dusk or early morning

Wow, sorry to have duplicated your thread. I never saw this one.

Can't believe no one responded. What does it take to get these couch potatoes off their fat duffs and out shooting? Sheesh.

they did... it is in the central NJ post.... which i don't agree with.. because it got lost... and no one saw it... i wound up going alone...

i just got back... i went 6am sat morning... it was GREAT... but bring your AWD vehicle... very muddy.... saw tons of nikon users... and ptentax... only 1other canon...

Where's the shots? Did you go up?
I have a flickr friend who pilots a ballon in the US. Will have to check see if he was there.

I was planning on going but when I saw the above poster, PLGG, had posted, i read her info. Turns out, they only launch the balloons at dawn and dusk so i missed the boat so to speak. She went. I'm looking forward to seeing her shots.

it was fun. I actually saw alot of canon users. still drooling over their gear since I only have xsi. we went saturday morning right where the AT&T balloon took off (by the pepsi). was hoping for darth vader but it was all the way at the end. got 1-2 shot of it though but not too clear

enegizer bunny wasn't "going and going" :(
