Took this picture a while ago but hated how it came out. I just went back to it today and realised maybe it isn't so bad. Six exposures, 50D, Canon 10-22.

It's a nice subject, but the shadow areas have no detail. I'd love to see whats up there.

Wow, what a difference. See, there's color in there lost before. Anyway, it's just my preference to see into the shadows. That's what HDR is for me. :)

I prefer the 1st one...only because of the meaning of the architecture that is implied with gothic archways. Im not getting into any religious thing here, but the gothic archways were created to enforce the idea of reaching towards the heavens, and think the 1st one does that best and I like it. Actually I like both, they are fantastic. Well done!
