Spent the day at the beach yesterday.... spotted this shot immediately.

350D, 28-135IS @ 41mm, hand-held, ISO 100, 3 RAW's - Photomatix - PS7 for sharpening.

Yep. Roof line, left. Pretty abrupt change to the sky behind the roof line. Still a nice capture, but (IMHO) not as nice as the first one, even though you can see it there too.

I love the composition on that second shot and all you would need to do is back off a tad to get rid of any halos. Everyone has there own likes and dislikes; especially where to draw the line at HDR.

Yeah, seems like everyone has fallen into the "I HATE HALO'S" relm....I don't really like them, but if you don't know what HDR is or a "halo" then you would never have any idea!!

I think i am going to see if I can just touch that area up in PS...

Thanks for the compliment! Being new at this it makes all the difference in the world to see that something you have done is "getting there"
