Watercraft Racing

Does anyone here shoot, or have shot watercraft racing. I'm going to practice my new found passion for photography tomorrow and wanted to know if anyone had any advice for me. I'll be shooting around 4pm (PST), water line level, and with a 50D / 100-400L. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure its just like shooting cars, but maybe with higher shutter speed (since you can't see any motion aside from background) id try between 1/160-1/300

Thanks RadAl. I'll just try about every setting and see what turns out the best. I'll post up any keepers, if I get any.
