I love her in it Dave
not mad about saying this so apologies, but I can't admire it without saying it
http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif
I would prefer the picture without the black part of the frame as it seems to enclose her and the flowers too much.
I think showing more of her hair on the right hand side would be nice
also slightly more of the flowers lower down
(the frame may have taken up those features ?)
if not , no worries
it's very nice
and whatever you prefer is fine by me Dave
thanks

Here you go Marie. How do you like this one.
thank you for not being offended Dave
again more apologies that I am late seeing this picture.
I really didn't enjoy saying anything 'off' about the picture the first time I replied
so glad I didn't miss it this time
(as I am finding it very hard to see or find some shots around at all now)
I think you done a wonderful job:cool:
I love it. now she is more the 'picture' rather then the dark frame, which didn't help to make the very best of her lovely face and expression (and flowers)
and what the picture was all about
she is gorgeous in it.
what a lovely lovely portrait
and in the years to come your son and your mam and you all will have the pleasure of looking at this moment captured in time forever
thank you very much for showing me what you thought of the suggestion
no harm done, if you didn't like it .
you always have the choice of go back to anything you prefer
:)

I have to admit Marie. You are correct about this one. I like it way better. I have been hung up on dark frames for a while and didn't even think about it. So thank you Marie for opening my eyes. :D :D :D

Dave, I agree the second frame is better than the first.
However the frame should be simple so as not to detract from the main image.
The main image is wonderful, a beautiful lady enjoying the pleasures of the earth. I can almost smell the bouquet.

I think Marie was right.
The second one looks better balanced than the first.
NICE SHOT
