I'm not sure I like the texture of the background. If the background was a stone wall or decayed dry wall it would compliment the mood of the picture. However, I think in this case the background needs to be smoothed.

I like the subject and idea though, do you have more from the shoot?

I think I agree with the background comments. I love the harsh lighting. I would have been tempted to shoot at a high ISO, to add some grain to the monochrome, but I think your treatment works in this case. Nice job, you've been posting some interesting stuff.

I would also change the blind fold to something for raggity.

As far as the background goes, all we had was a sheet and pretty much everything we were doing was very spur of the moment- but i totally agree that a brick wall or one with paint peeling would have looked great.
