"Peaceful" protesting - Urban riot

We have a building near our house that has been occupied by some illegal immigrants about a year ago. After one year of discussions, finally today the police arrived to clear the place.

As a matter of fact, these bast***s were informed in advance, and organized themselves.

This morning, at 5.30 AM I was wake up by loud sounds. I wen at my windows to take a look ans saw all thiss mess. First tought that came to my mind was "I better take some pictures of these guys, just in case when the cops arrives somebody gets hurt, a few pictures may help in tracking down some of these guys".

Unfortunately, the cops were too little, I expect them to come back in the afternoon or in the next few days, but I took a nice 100 and something pictures (1600 ISO, 300mm, so these are noisy, and no RAW because I needed all the full speed tht my XT would be able to give me in continuous shooting) that I am going to burn to a CD and hand over to the local police station, just in case they needed.

No, those first two pics were taken from my home window, sorta of under cover. It was aimed at the cops that were in the streets.

Those are bike helmets, used to mask their face so they won't be recognized after the big mess. I just brought the full CD to te local police station.

The helmets are also good for protection against police batons. Ask any former hippie who protested in the 60's and 70's.

Well, the smoke shots were taken standing on the road, I actually got out of the house to take some better picture of those pigs. It was making me a little nervous of course, but that's why telephoto lens are :D I was at a reasonable distance with the 90-300 at full extension.

No, for two reasons. the first one is that fortunately nothing happened and the cops just made a step back (I suspect the we will se them VERY soon). The second one is that I took the pics with the only intent of giving them to the police. As you can imagine, I prefer my name not going in any newspaper :D

So they are not human,,,just pigs and bastards...I am sorry to say but photography community needs less people with your attitude. where is humanity anyway? Ok, they have done bad things around your building, or around your city, or around your country..or around europe..but what are they trying to do anyway?Just go to your country and smash up things and then leave?

I'm not going to flame on this. But I wonder what happens if this will happen to YOUR house. What I have done - and always will - is plain and simple what every honest, law-abiding citizen should do. Help the LEOs any way its possible, against any type of crime. And let me add that you have no idea of what these guyse are able to do in these situations. Should be enough to say that in other pics I have molotov bottles ready, piles of rocks and other lawfully tools ?

Anyway, this is going definitely too far. Any Mod around here that can close/erase the thread ? This is getting nasty enough for my taste.
