Caught this little guy in our back garden with my 300D and 90-300mm lense.

Would be interested to hear some comments...

Nice. We have them Lorikeets round here (in pairs) but I haven't got a tele lens yet...

On your pic the red bit of flower above the lorikeet's head should be wiped to green so it disappears..

Are you talking about the red spot just above his head or the red flower at the top of the photo?

We're staying in Sydney at the moment....

Great shot! I have struggled to get good shots of them in the trees and most of mine aren't well enough focussed, you've done a great job and caught the colours beautifully.
