I have about 800 photos that I want to do a slide show with my own music, then burn onto a DVD.

I tried to use Movie Maker 2.1, however it appears I cannot use my music from I-tunes.

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there some other software that is recommended to accomplish what I am trying to do?

I h ave not had to do this but try these links.

The slide shows I produce are usually about 20 minutes long with aprox 200-225 slides.
800 slides will be a very long show for people to sit and watch.
Keep in mind that you may be violating copyright laws if this show is for any use other than your own personal use. That is why most of us who charge for slideshows use royalty free music (the good stuff is usually expensive)

I use Pinnacle Studio, but it's the same thing, won't use itunes music. So, I basically burn a cd from the itunes file, then either select the music from the cd...or (what is the word....?) rip? the music on to the computer, which makes it the format the programs prefer, then you're all set!

If/when I need to do a slide show with more than 200 or so images I'll separate the show into segments. I then export each segment as an .iso file. After this I use Roxio to make a DVD with separate chapters.
