Hi there, I just got my A40, and I wonder why it dosn't take more than approx 1 - 1.2 pics/second in continuous mode.

The display is off (however, it shows the pictures taken during cont. shots)
The flash is off, and I'm shooting outdoors in good light. Would'nt that be close to ideal conditions??

The A40 will shoot about 5 photos every 2 sec's as long as:
1) your resolution setting is at it's lowest
2) your shutter speed is at it's fastest
The faster the camera can process the image the sooner it will take the next photo.
