Last week arrived my EOS 350d... first time for me with a DSRL... and it was immediately feeling ;)

I spent my weekend shooting race car hill-climbing a mountain track.
Meterological conditions where not very good... fog and a little sun alternatively... really stressing about the continuos changing of camera setting.

I still not have a "serious" lens... 'cause my budget was not big... so, i think to buy a nice tele really soon.

The pics behind are shooted with EOS 350d and 55-200 f/4.5-5.6 in kit with the camera... ****? yes... i know... but in this weekend I was really surprised about it.
No postprocessing, in JPG shoot (not RAW) and just as camera out, full size.

In this one there's much noise... I think it may be the consequence of ISO sensibility, set to high value, really much fog and low light.
But I really love colors of this photo, are very similar to the reality.
I printed this photo 15x22cm, and noise is not present, nice.

Nice focus and sun effect on the wheels

Soft panning fot this pic, the car is something impressive... BMW 320 with Formula 1 V8 JUDD engine... incredible!

Of this one I like the angle of view

I'm looking for a used 70-200L f/4 now...

Those links all take me to a "home?" page in Italian? You may not be allowed to link to pics with them. Why not try free Photobucket.com?

I hope this is the last time I modify the links :)

Sorry, now links will work fine.
