While speaking with one of our contacts over at Op/Tech USA (the company producing our POTN straps), I found out about a new product they are offering that I thought others would be interested in. It's a form fit neoprene camera pouch. I just looked them over, and it looks like they have several models that will accomodate most EOS cameras, and a larger model for 1-series or D-series with the grip.

Here's the info on their web site with all the different models available:

I'm wondering if those could be used for slight shutter noise reduction (cut holes for lens head, shutter release and back LCD/few buttons)?

Is Neoprene water resistant? Not sure what use they'd really be unless you were exceedingly paranoid. After all most bags are very well padded.

What a great Idea..

You could use it in Northern climates with a "Jon-E pocket hand warmer" thrown in to extend battery life! :;)
