be better if you posted the individual picture (within the size regulations of course) but its kind of small.

Pretty good for a first attempt with a Wide-ish lens.

The TV remote truck tower kind of takes the bloom of the rose as it were.

Otherwise, I kind of like amount of negative space in the frame.

That wasn't WDTN's truck was it? (Used to work there many, many moons ago)

good effort - but you're supposed to fly 'into' the frame... your plane is 'leaving' the frame :-)

. . . subject is kinda small, and the TV remote tower certainly doesn't add anything to the picture - but it's practice, and that's what makes for better results, along with the C&C here ! ;)

Good miSteAKe! If you shoot a lot of those you can get a few really nice ones.

Man I do so little posting and attaching I forget, so I just ul'd it to the web page and linked it. I'm kinda hard on myself and figure my shots aren't worth posting anyway...will try to attach the image. Tnx RadAl

I appreciate the comment justimaging...I'm workin on it!

tdragone...I'll take your suggestion and practice on cars...MANY more opportunities!

FlyingPhotog, muscleflex, Rivman, PhotosGuy..I was thinking opposite see...thought the subject would look faster if moving out of the frame. Shows ya what I know. That tower...again figured it showed movement. So if the tower wasn't in the frame I wouldn't call it a pan shot, even though I panned to get it..am I thinking right? I know the subject is major smallish..my fault. Just got in the gate and had the Tam 28-75 on. Guess I wasn't prepared. I have more I'll post tonite shot w/100-300 4.5/5.6. An ok lens but have a higher keeper rate with the 40d than with the xt:)

Appreciate the C&C..have thick skin and need to learn!!
