So I took my 5D to the river today. This is a river by the way. The Potomac is HUGE!!! Needless to say, the boat breaks down and I am the only one happy about it. Was able to get plenty of shots without fighting the sloshing of the boat across the river. Let me know what you think. This is after processing.

Good ones, but centering a moving object just doesn't work all that well. You need to read about the Rule of Thirds (http://photoinf.com/Golden_Mean/Edwin_Leong/Camera_Hobby_-_e-Book_on_the_Rule_of_Thirds.htm)
Photography Composition Articles (http://photoinf.com/)

I like all 3 but I think cloning out the tree limb in the water on 2nd would make it better.

Ahh. The mid-atlantic. Where rivers are actually rivers.

A true river cannot be jumped across
