I was shooting some wild turkeys handheld across a field the other day with my new 20D and 100-400L which I bought new about a year ago. While looking through the viewfinder the IS part of the lens kept twitching side ways. I took out the battery and put it back in same thing. I also removed the lens and remounted it, same thing. The battery still showed a good charge but had been in the camera for quit a while. I tried it a few minutes later and it did not do it again. When I got home I installed fresh batteries and it still worked fine. Has anyone experienced anything like this. I love this lens and hope it isn't starting to mess up. I used it with my D Rebel for a year with no problems and a couple of months with the 20D and this is the first problem. It was kind of a hazy day but I dont think that would matter. Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.
