Rebel XT grip owners

Just wanted to know what your opinion was of the grip.
Can it have a battery and AAs in at the same time?

I love the grip, wouldn't do with out it. In fact, it has not come off my camera since the day I got it. It makes all the difference in the world when you spend a lot of time with the camera in your hand.

As for the battery question, no, you cannot have both in the grip at the same time. It is an either/or proposition.
