Photos Taken at the local abandoned theme park. Has been closed for over 22 years. Only one ride left standing, but slowly falling apart. Let me know what you think :)

Neat idea - too bad I dont know where there are any abandoned theme parks. Interesting to see the way nature takes over anything that is abandoned. It would be interesting to go there at night and do some light painting.

yeah that would be nice to do light painting there. although i wouldnt climb to much on that rollercoaster. oh photo 3 is a shot of where we had to crawl to get to the roof of the rollercoaster line area. the roof was still about 10ft off the ground but still was sturdy considering the current condition of it.

We need to start an abandoned building data base. I know people are protective of thier secret locations. But everybody has a different vision of every location.
There is a mapping website that you can join a group and pin locations....I for get the name, but it might be a great place to do this.

Only problem there is the more people that go, the harder it is to get in over time. What gets to me is when people go into these places to destroy, graffiti and remove items, it ruins it for "us".
If you do a search for your area you may find some stuff. Thats what i did and found a few places. There is a few places that are heavily guarded though.

I see your point! It could get out of hand. But a small private group like here on PTON will not be to many people. Make it off site from PTON were membership is limited somehow. It might be a good referance for us.

For those of you near I-95 in South Carolina and North Carolina, there's a place called South of the Border or something. I forget, but it's semi-shut down.
