Fisrt off she is very very cute!!! Now to address the problem.. People will need to know what camera, lens and what your settings were. That way people can tell you maybe what to try to fix it.

Very cute kid, cute pics too. Shame but you're right, the focus JUST missed perfection. If you can select the focus areas, always make sure to focus on they eyes, if you can lock the focus, lock on the eyes, then re-compose. Nice job tho! Kid's cute as a button!
