Here are some shots I took of my truck (2007 chevrolet avalanche). Let me know what you think.

#4 is ok, but I'd rather see more blue and less clouds. Your truck is cool. But it begs for a non-busy background. The other backgrounds are just too much for me.(especially 2 and 8 )

With that sort of paint job, I don't think you need that processing to make the car stand out. And a busy background with a busy paint job? See my Sig for some other ideas, and...

Thanks, I understand where you all are coming from, one of the main reasons I edited the shots the way I did was to bring out the colors in my truck, the green actually looks like that in person and with the originals it just doesn't come out in the photos at all, but I could enhance the without making it too extreme, thanks though I appreciate it.

#4 is pretty good from a composition stand point. The others are too busy with the background. I'm not a fan of the processing either. You could get the colors on the truck to pop with some contrast and saturation adjustments without resorting to the heavy-handed treatment.
I'd like to see a simple profile shot with an un-busy background in nice evening light. The busy-ness of these shots, and the composition, leaves me wondering what the truck actually looks like.

here are some images I had a friend do, I think they turned out good. Just wanted to show you the differences in color. He does an awesome job and I love his work. I just thought I'd do different things to my photo to stand out more. But anyways here they are.

To me the best shot because the paint is so "busy" is the overhead against the concrete background. It really makes an outstanding paint job standout versus being buried in the "busy" background. IMHO of course.

Nice truck, actually saw it driving in Fargo two weekends ago. I like the last series of shots especially 1 and 3.

Like the truck. Not my personal taste, but I can appreciate its visual uniqueness.
As for the photos, definitely lose the clouds. They make it almost impossible to see the customizations clearly. I understand wanting to do a more environmental/urban aesthetic, so the background doesn't bother me so much. But you have to shoot these on an overcast day where the light is soft and even.
Use a circular polarizer to cut the glare off the window glass.
The HDR is definitely overdone. It's too contrasty and interferes with the subject's depth/form. It almost becomes a 2D stylized graphic.
I really, really like shot #1 from the second set. Yeah, I know I said no clouds. But it's a really dramatic shot. Perhaps it might be a bit better with shallower DOF, the right side background is a bit distracting.
