I've been asked to shoot a golf tournament this weekend. It is a parent/child tourney, so primarily pics of the kids teeing off. Equip list below.
40D
100-400L
17-50 2.8
28-135
Any suggestions on which lens to use? I can get pretty close but would prefer not be obtrusive.

Your 100-400 would probably be your most versatile lens, having the ability to zoom in tight or zoom out for full length shots. I like shooting tee shots tight so I use my 400 for most tee shots and setup a little farther away if I need a full length shot. Also keep your 17-50 handy in case you need to get that parent/child photo before tee off.
