from a bird show at Callaway.
Did you know if you find a feather from a bird of prey and you keep it, that if a game warden see it then you can be fined? Thats wild.

Awesome shot.. I need to get to the Zoo this year. I missed the "cool" season in AZ. :) Very nice.. I love the contrast and dark background. :D

NIce shot! Love the bokeh, and that's a stupid law!!! No if they find a stuffed bird of prey that's different..... but a feather.....?

Here is another shot from the other side. You can see that his beak is deformed. They said he'd probably die out in the wild. They weren't exactly sure but think it was a birth defect from pollution, or something like that.

Very nice shots. I agree that the first one is dramatic. The second has more value though, I think, as it points out how environmental neglect can damage even an icon of America.

...neglect can damage even an icon of America. It's sad, but on a :D note, Ben Franklin had a LOT to say about that "icon"! ;)
