I'm jealous. Not only did you get a clear, colorful shot - look at that shiny little eye! (plus the bokeh, plus the nice composition, plus the natural setting) He even combed his hair!

Tupe, this was also the 1st time i got so close to a cardinal. I call it luck. :D Last saturday, when i was about 15 ft close to a creek, suddenly two cardinals made loud noise, like giving some sort of warning signal. Then only i realized they were mama and papa, and i accidentally got too close to their nest and their baby. The nest is only 4 ft above ground. I quickly took a few pictures and left them alone. It turned out to be my best cardinal picture.
