That shallow DOF works for me. Great pic, quite unusual. That 85mm is really getting a workout :)

We actually had a POTN meet-up here in New York last June......(organized by a member named Msvadi). Unfortunately, out of all of the members who confirmed......only 2 showed up :-(
But as of recently........there has been a few NEW new yorkers in this board. Thats a good thing.
:-)

Ro,
Are you happy with your 85mm L? I'm looking for something along that line for my 10D and your comments would be appreciated.
Thanks my friend,

Thanks my friend,
I'm VERY VERY happy with it. Search for my other threads in the EF-EFS forum.....I have a review of that lens there..........as well as a comparison with the 1.8 version.
..........If you're on a budget........the 1.8 version is a very good alternative.

Thanks Ro,
I'm very impressed with this photo of your brother. I'll go look up that thread and also look at that 1.8 version. You da' man.
