Once again at Taronga Zoo, I had a ball that day!
The small birds are so hard to get, because they're so darn quick! Really the wee wren is a ball of fluff with a beak!!
And I found the peacock intriguing.
Any feedback welcome ;)

Thanks! This was the only time I found the little critter sitting still, so I tried to make it count!
And crest of the female peacock was so striking I just had to get it!

Nice shot! What a colorful bird!! BTW, not sure what kind of bird it is, but is it normally that fat?

It is a Variegated Wren (Malurus assimilis). They are normally that shape. And very difficult to get to sit still long enough to photograph. Nice catch !

Great shots. I think the wren puffed up its feathers, giving the illusion that it is fatter than it really is.
