Elph CF door?

The little plastic door over the CF slot on my s100 has broken. The local repair shop wants too much money to fix it. Does anyone have a source for this part? I'm sure I can replace it myself. Canon has been no help so far.

I had the same thing happen to my s110. The plastic latch snapped off so the door won't stay shut. Of course the camera won't turn on unless the door is closed, so I'm trying to superglue a piece on to make a new latch. Just out of curiosity how much was the camera store asking to fix the door?

If I were you, I would call Canon at 1800-828-4040, and choose the Parts Center option. It's probably a fairly inexpensive part that you can attach yourself.
