Those are all great!

Great colours, definately.

Were they used with a polarizer filter, or just saturation?

Nice!!!! I love Red Rock Canyon, I will be back there the end of July for a model shoot, I can't wait!!! I love the effect of the circular polarizer, mine is in the mail.

Ben,

Amazing compositions. Can you tell us which of your wide angles you were using...in general. I see several possibilities from your gear list, but am guessing the 10-22. Correct me if I wrong.

Thanks,

All photos in the set were taken with the 10-22 EF-S

Thanks for all the comments :)

Checking out Red Rock canyon was the only good thing that came out of my last trip to Vegas besides a flat tire out by the lake.

All great shots, vivid color, good detail and I like the compositions. Number 1 really shows the canyon very well. Don't you love the 10-22?

Nice pics! The colors are vibrant. :)

Question on the polarizer... when you use it, do you have to adjust exposure compensation?

When I used the polarizer I probably could have done with raising the exposure a little but as it was my first time using it, I didn't. I just upped the levels slightly when I edited the RAW files and they came out fine. I think the polarizer can take off as much as 2 f/stops.

Very nice shots Ben, but i have a quistion for you. How the hell did you manage to upload so many shots, i tried it recently and could only manage two and that gave me such a head-ache resizing again and again it wasn't really worth the effort, i'd like to upload some but resorted to makeing my own site......?

Anyway great photo's, i'm hopeing to be successful using a polarizer on my G6, but will use it in the manual setting for control?

I just uploaded all my photos to www.imageshack.us and then linked them to the post by putting tags around them.

Click quote on my top post to see how I did it :)
