I can guess. It's difficult since "Cow" is such a living and elastic language. The Australian version would, no doubt, be morphed with an Aboriginal dialect. Something like, "MooO'oaho" That's just a guess. I'm guessing that Googling this wouldn't turn out so well.

Actually, I have buried people. It has been TREMENDOUSLY draining on me. It's bad enough having to send others off, it is far worse watching everybody break down around you. Thank god I don't expect any more in the near future.
The thread "take DSLR to family funeral?" is just wierd. I wouldn't even take myself if I could. I'll pay my respects in my own way which is more meaningful to me.
I hate funerals, too. I already told my boys that I don't want one. To me our burial customs are appalling. I'd much rather be cremated and have my ashes scattered in a pasture where I used to play as a child.
Now if everyone only had Verizon Wireless...."Can you hear me now?" :p

Alternatively another trick to make it less obvious is to use your mouse to select a 'space', Ctrl-C to copy, then Ctrl-V to paste.. you'll paste a space each time. You only need to mouse-select-Ctrl-C the first time, once it's in the copy and paste buffer, just press Ctrl-V every time you want a space.
Get a nice desktop.....they tend to last longer :)

The bottle is not going to do anything in normal bar settings....in a fire...every bottle on the shelf poses a threat. It takes more to get wines and some of the cordials to ignite...as they have a higher water content...but heated enough...even beer can be ignited. Just have to boil off most of the water first. The good news about bar fires is they are very easy to extinguish....just add water.

The bottle is not going to do anything in normal bar settings....in a fire...every bottle on the shelf poses a threat. It takes more to get wines and some of the cordials to ignite...as they have a higher water content...but heated enough...even beer can be ignited. Just have to boil off most of the water first. The good news about bar fires is they are very easy to extinguish....just add water.

yes i'm within ten miles of two ski resorts.. there is a LOT of snow enough that i'm a little uncomfortable driving around early in the morning or late at night.. I have a pair of snowboots that I wear to walk across the street and then change into my work shoes.. but, I love it. It's just sooo pretty and clean and makes everything look new. All of the photos that I took three months ago have to be retaken because the view has changed so much..

It is now 16 degrees with 40mph wind gusts...we got about 3 inches...that is big here...schools are closed for tomorrow already. The big issue we have is not so much the snow...but the lack of necessary equipment to deal with it. People drive on the snow...pack it down...turns to ice...we have skating rinks...as soon as the sun comes out...it will melt and things will be fine again.
There were over 200 reported accidents between the first flake falling and the last news update. We have 2 interstates that pass thru...both are at a standstill at the moment...waiting for salt and sand to get spread.

Here in the mid-Willamette valley, it's pretty much the same. If there's the least amount of snow, the counties go into complete panic. We might have, at most, two plows in the area. But then, we have about 458 Big Ol' Pick'em Up Trucks that think they can do whatever they want in the snow just because they have 4x4. I dunno, but I think that 4x4 is just about worthless when all four tires hit ice...

The problem is not with 3 inches of snow...it is with any snow....there is no snow removal equipment here to speak of. They can't justify the expense. The interstates get taken care of most of the time...some of the US highways get cared for....secondary roads (where most students live) get nothing. If the sun can't get to it and melt it...then nothing happens on that road until the sun can get to it. During the winter...it is not unusual for schools to not open until 10...so the roads will have some time to get sun on them.

4 wheel drive is worthless on ice...but try telling that to some redneck that just plunked his life savings down on one. The news tonight was littered with pictures of upside down vehicles...almost all of them were 4 wheel drive trucks. It does make it easy for them to rotate their tires when the truck is in that pose.

I couldn't imagine not having the big highway trucks with sand and salt loaded on the back. As for sun to melt the white stuff...we'll probably see that again in late March. :)

Most of the Bubba-boys with fancy trucks here are the city slicker type...you see an occasional gun rack...but they are not all that common. They would probably have heart failure if they saw my gun collection.

It does sound crazy! And I know how hard it is to balance everything and still "make" Christmas at home for everyone. It's almost over though and then you'll get to enjoy your family. Is everyone going to be at home this year?

It's better to have a bon fire and see who can roast them w/o burning off ones appendages first.
