November is kind of late in the season at Jellystone....Ranger Smith says that it is better for you to visit in September or October to get the real feel for the place. There is a chill in the air..many of the woodland critters are feeling frisky and doing what comes natural...making them more visible than they are at other times of the year.
So Yogi, are you up for a fall trip to the big J? (Y?)

Sari,
you could put together a coffee table book with your adventures and the photos-- the self sacrifice you go through for your art!
I had quite a laugh at Puddle's little opening as well. how great was that?
self sacrifice sounds like I plan to do the stuff I do... it's never my intention to get myself into the scrapes I get into... i'd have to be an idiot. I just kind of wander..... no real excuse, no justification.. 'I was foolish I wasn't thinking i'm sorry i'll try not to do it again.' atleast that's what I say to my uncles when they're threatening to take my car away and lock me in my room.. Puddle cracked me up and I didn't realize how funny the places i've been would sound to someone not familiar with them... that's just their names.. doesn't sound unreasonable to me.. i'm used to it. But, in my own self defence i've never done something stupid twice.. I tend to find something new to do instead...

That's a pretty horrifying thought depending on who you are looking at....
I'll ask it bluntly however, how does one, uh, disguise the fact that they are interested when hot chicks walk by without a thread on?

We've been conditioned to think that certain facets of reproductive humanity are viewed as 'dirty' or 'abnormal' when they really shouldn't be.

I know. I'm not sure either...around here there are no explanations...just "no". When we bought, we didn't think it would be a big deal...we weren't planning on staying forever...but we like our house (and it's paid for!) so we're thinking that we probably will be here some time....so we'd either have to get a storage facility where we could park either RV or boat, or just forget it.

Being able to park in my own driveway makes things so much easier...mine is always plugged in...so the batteries never go dead...very easy to load clothes, food and dogs....and I don't have to worry about what to do with my other vehicle if I am going to be gone for a while.

Just a regular driver's license...unless you get one of the extreme models that is over-sized....Up to 40' is no problem...over requires a permit and special licensing in some states...but not all....gets confusing at times...I don't have to worry about it...the units that require a permit start at $500,000 and go up from there....a bit out of my budget.

In the contract it says no, but I spoke to my boss and he said if it's a lot we'll get either time off or paid. Then he added that considering our schedule it probably wouldn't be good to give time off, so he told me the company would most likely prefer to give me money. I certainly hope they do!!!

LOL Well, I did try to pick up one of my very good male friends over MSN last night. Somehow the conversation didn't turn out the way I wanted it to... ;)
Him: "I want a girlfriend. I need somebody who makes me think of something but work. Someone I can be close to."
Him: "I just want a sane girl. Somebody nice, caring, not psychopatic and who has self-confidence."
Me: *raises hands and waves* "Duh, I'm here!"
Me: "Well, you are meeting a lot of people, there's bound to be some nice girls."
Him: "Yeah, but I'm not interested in any of them, besides, I have to act professional as the website community I run is not supposed to be a dating thing."
Me: "Hm, true. Does this mean I shouldn't sign up to the community then in order to have a theoretical chance with you?"
Him: "LOL Nah, I don't think you have to worry about that... ;) "
Me: "Auch. That hurt. I don't even have a theorethical chance. "
Him: "Oh God, stop crying. How am I supposed to handle this in a nice way??"
Me: "Yeah, I'm kinda curious as well how you gonna get yourself out of this one... ;) "
Him: "Eh, it's not like you don't have a chance...eh..ehm..I mean...you do..but..ehm, not today..."
Me: ""
Him: "Eh, well you see...it's like when a kid wants something you automatically say NO..."

Here is where I'm going to hang my bleeding heart out for more abuse -
I might take on the Starbucks chick given the advice here. Timeframe is WHEN I GET BACK. That is also the time I am going back for more coffee. Unlike the 724ISL, the coffee run HAS to take place.
I just know this will draw a good flogging from all on the thread......

RVs are the best way to do Jellystone...especially if you want those early morning shots. Fall is too cold and the ground is too hard to sleep in a tent...although I do carry a tent along...should any hearty soul want to commune with nature in a far more intimate setting. Camping in an RV is far more practical...they have heat, comfy beds, nice hot showers, proper cooking and food storage facilities..Plus they have a ton of room for all the camera gear!

yeah.. even then we'll be rushing things.. I think it would take a month to do Yellowstone properly.. and I have a ulterior motive to going there... I want to get a gig working at the lodge in the park for the following summer there... So, i'll more than likely be wrangling an interview. So, before I leave for africa i'll either have a job lined up at San Diego, colorado or the Grand Canyon (where ever I decide).. and then come home.. Hopefully be moved out of here and have my stuff in storage in the valley.. If I pulled a princess move I could just have my uncles move me but I'm not sure.. it depends on time.. And then come home. Meet up with POTN crew go to Yellowstone secure a gig for next summer and spend a few days shooting with buddies and then off to whatever city i've decided to spend the winter...
