I've been working nights for 21 years now. Going back to days would be a heck of an adjustment for me. I love the shift differential, and the way our schedules work, I get a three day weekend every other week.
I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights every week, set schedule. I am also in Charge at night for an extra tidy sum of $$$. I have Thurs.- Sunday to do whatever.

Other than being called a vampire...working nights is the best deal there is...I loved it...28+ years of that.
I'd love to work nights. students don't want to go to class at 3 am, though.

I don't think I could ever get used to 12-hour shifts. It took me a long time to get used to 9's, but I do like that now.

You get used to it...but you pretty much just work and sleep during your workweek. (at least that's the way it was for me). The days off were great though.

No worries Skip.. I don't have a problem with others buying AMD, just that I chose to spec a Dell system because I was hoping to present another option that you might want to look into.
I DO however have a big problem when someone comes out and shoves their bias straight into my face as was done with the 'no dell' comment.. now I haven't shot anybody's options down....don't see why I should get that either.

Good morning. It's bright sunshine outside and the ice is melting. I have a full day of school and work. Hope everyone had a good sleep. I didn't. Have a terrible headache and I can't find my glasses. I'm probably going to be gone all day and my HOA meeting is tonight. I absolutely hate getting ready for it. But it's a necessary thing and I am good at it, I guess. I just wish I had more time to shoot.

I wish. But this HOA meeting is once a year and people here are mostly relaxed about the process. We only have 69 homes and all about 1 acre or more of land. We are not close neighbors. Just have money we have to decide how to spend every year and our main road just outside our development is being widened. That is by far the worst of the issues. But the school day is hard on Tuesdays. I have to run from one school to the other and then get home in time to get the kids dinner and off again I go.

Oh year we got some snow yesterday too and it caught everybody by surprise one freeway was completely blocked in both directions because of accidents involving 40 cars. And today everybody is driving at max (or over) the limited speed even though there is water and ice on the freeways. The police recommended max 50 km/h on the freeway were the max allowed is 110 km/h.

This isn't mine, but I just had to share it.
Alliteration articulates an artistic and alacritous approach aimed at annotating and arranging alphabetic accoutrements as alarmingly affective alignments. Alliteration allows aspiring authors abilities above average approaches. Alliterative adroitness accentuates accomplishments (an appealing aspect appalling artistic arrangements attempt abominably). Allowing additional anterior alphanumerics, although adumbrating aesthetic accuracy, affords abortive artistic acuity. Ancient alliterations affirm archeological assertions accrediting archaic artistic alliterative ascendancy. Albeit acutely arduous, alliteration affects antonymous allegory, an absolute actualization alluding asomatous abstruse anima.

Moo indeed. You lot have produced some impressive alliterations there.
Completely cool concoctions colleagues! ;)

This isn't mine, but I just had to share it.
Alliteration articulates an artistic and alacritous approach aimed at annotating and arranging alphabetic accoutrements as alarmingly affective alignments. Alliteration allows aspiring authors abilities above average approaches. Alliterative adroitness accentuates accomplishments (an appealing aspect appalling artistic arrangements attempt abominably). Allowing additional anterior alphanumerics, although adumbrating aesthetic accuracy, affords abortive artistic acuity. Ancient alliterations affirm archeological assertions accrediting archaic artistic alliterative ascendancy. Albeit acutely arduous, alliteration affects antonymous allegory, an absolute actualization alluding asomatous abstruse anima.

Another game!
Apparently bovine creatures demand exceptionally fast golden hamsters.
Interestingly, jumping kangaroos like mooing - not openly - precisely, quietly.
Rambling shows Tupperwarians unarguably valid, wholesome, x-rated, yet zingy.

As far as I know, Scottie is going. One issue though is that some of us are going up earlier (e.g. Dimitri on the Friday, and myself and John on the saturday). If Scottie was going up, then he might be going earlier than sunday too.

It certainly appears to be - the normal collection of reprobates for this time of day seem to be unusually quiet. Perhaps they're straining their brains to post in keeping with the tone of the thread tonight. ;)

No, I'm ok. They're all several pages back with fingers hovering over each word trying to read along. I reckon that by the time their aged brain cells catch up, then they'll have forgotten what was happening.

You just better hope that they are soothed enough by your calling them paragons of virtue to ignore that you called them a collection of reprobates...

I keep wondering why you opted to go for the fat. Surely that will be to your disadvantage when they fish you out, stick you on the spit and roast you? ;)
