Please tell me what you think.

Too bad about the bird crap on the roof, but oh well. This is posted from Photobucket, which isn't the best display.

Enjoy, and feel free to critique. This is my second posted HDR, I think. Maybe the first. But not my first HDR made. I've been working at it a while (two weeks), and this is my best so far.

seems a bit flat, the colors are just waiting to pop in this

otherwise I like it

This is probably better. Sharpening and increased saturation.

I would agree with a tad flat. Also seems to have a slight bluish tint. You did a good job of controlling haloing along that treeline.

I like the second one better. Nice job.

Thanks. I've had a really hard time controlling ghosts. Lately the clouds have been moving so fast, and the trees swaying quite a bit, so I've had to try more evening shots.

I'm probaby going to show this one to the homeowner and see what he thinks.

The shot was taken from a public park that is literally as close to the owner's lot as the photo shows. It's a really neat little setup.

Much nicer on the correction. If anything, I might try backing off the color on the turqois canoe, but only there, and only slightly. Sharpened up nicely. Good job.

Second one is nicer.

Thanks.

I'm not really good at isolating objects. Any suggestions?

I have Gimp (learning, but not good on it), PSE (which expires in four days--trial--so I have to think about re-upping), and the stock Canon programs.

I also use Photofiltre for brightness/contrast. I really like some of the features of it (and it was free).

I know nothing about layers.
