Hello, my brother purchased a digital canon rebel EOS, the sad thing is that we are total strangers to photography / camera / settings. He took some pictures last week using the auto settings (green square) . Can you please share some basic settings and how can i shoot a sequence of movements in 1 photo? like this

With a digital, when you find out let me know. Did you created this pic or was it some one elses. The pic looks like a lot of ediing w/ PS. A lot of USM was used on the surfers as well.

I just bought the Rebel Xt last week. I love it it as I am sure you & your bro will too. Love the windsurfer shot. The great thing about digital is that we can DELETE!!! HAHAHA

I think I am confused. Is the photo you posted the kind of photo you want to take? Is this http://www.techbe.com/bruno/miami.htm the photos you took? If so, the one you want to take is a series of several photos photoshopped together. http://www.photoworkshop.com/canon/index.html that link is for tutorials for digital cameras. Read the manual and go through the tutorials. Then, just practice, practice, paractice.
Good luck
